A luxury esports-focused cyber cafe has opened its doors in Lavender on Monday (Aug 14).
Operated by China’s leading gaming cafe chain, Wanyoo Esports, the cyber cafe operates around the clock and features a multi-function room, a table game room, a pool table, darts machines and diverse LAN room options. These rooms cater to various needs and occasions — single, group and ladies only.
Located at 30A Penhas Rd, there is also a Local Area Network (LAN) seating capacity of more than 80 people. Players can also choose from a selection of gaming titles such as Valorant, Fortnite and Dota 2.
Wanyoo Esports said that its cafe is also fully equipped with the latest state-of-the-art gaming gear and setups. It employs high-performance Asus CPUs paired with 4070 ti graphic cards, alongside top-tier gaming monitors from Asus and MSI to ensure gaming performance.
It has also partnered with local brand Secretlab to provide gaming chairs for players.
At the entrance of the cyber cafe, players will be greeted by artist collections of BE@RBRICK, a collectible figure that comes in a range of materials.
There are also gaming chairs and keyboards available in shades of pink for players who have an affinity for the colour.
In its press release, Wanyoo Esports shared that it hopes to establish itself as an Esports mainstay in Singapore, and later an Epsorts hub within the Southeast Asia (SEA) region. It is also looking to build an Esports-themed hotel and lounge in the near future.
The cyber cafe boasts a global chain of more than 1000 locations, covering China, Singapore, the UK, USA, Canada, and Australia. It also has another outlet in Beauty World.
