3 Products We Expect to See at Apple's "Wonderlust" Event on September 12
Apple's annual September event is almost here, but it's not just the iPhone 15 that we're looking forward to.
Apple's next event, called "Wonderlust," is scheduled for September 12, 2023. Apple usually holds an event in September to reveal the new iPhones, along with other products, and this year seems to be no different, according to rumors and predictions.
Although it's still too early to guarantee what products will be announced, here's everything we anticipate so far.
Apple's September events typically focus on iPhones. While Apple hasn't revealed its plans, as usual, rumors suggest that the iPhone 15 lineup will consist of four devices: the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max, just like 2022.
The iPhone 15 lineup is expected to be a substantial upgrade over the iPhone 14 series, as it's expected to get some significant upgrades like USB-C and A17 Bionic chips. Other rumors have suggested that the entire iPhone 15 lineup will feature the Dynamic Island cutout.
The iPhone 15 Pro models are also expected to sport a redesigned titanium body with thinner bezels, a dedicated Action button, and Thunderbolt 3 transfer speeds. These features, along with rumored improvements to the camera system, are expected to make the iPhone 15 lineup a significant step up from its predecessor.
The Apple Watch Series 9 is expected to feature a more efficient S9 chip based on the A15 processor from the iPhone 13. This could lead to better battery life than the previous generation, which uses the S8 chip. The Apple Watch Series 9 may also come in a new pink color option with a band that has a magnetic buckle.
The Apple Watch Ultra, on the other hand, is rumored to remain unchanged except for the addition of the S9 chip and a darker color option. It's unlikely that there will be a new Apple Watch SE this year, as the product seems to be updated every two years; Apple last updated it in 2022.
Apple is expected to announce the release dates of iOS 17, iPadOS 17, and watchOS 10 at its "Wonderlust" September event. Apple first showcased these operating systems at WWDC 2023 in June, and since then, beta versions have been available for developers and public beta testers.
iOS 17 will bring several new features, including interactive widgets, StandBy mode, NameDrop, an all-new Journal app, and other improvements to iMessage and FaceTime. watchOS 10 is also getting new features like Smart Stacks and an entirely new app design language, which takes advantage of the bigger displays found in the newer Apple Watch models.
Apple's "Wonderlust" iPhone 15 event is just around the corner, and the rumors are swirling about what new products the company will be unveiling. While Apple has not officially confirmed anything yet, we're confident that exciting new Apple products are on the horizon.
Whether you're looking forward to the iPhone 15 series, the Apple Watch, or the latest operating systems, there's sure to be something for everyone. Stay tuned for more details as the event gets closer!
